Luxray GL (014/DPt-P) is a rare Japanese Pokémon TCG promotional card from 2008, featuring a holographic “Gym Challenge” stamp on the bottom right of the card.

It was awarded as a prize to entrants who placed in the top 3 at the “Bonds to the End of Time” (時ときの果はての絆) release commemorative tournaments.

These were local tournaments run at official Pokémon Card Gym locations in 2008–2009 to celebrate the launch of the Japanese Platinum set Bonds to the End of Time (Pt2). That set later became the English Rising Rivals expansion.

There is no estimated print run for this card that i have found, though i believe it to be small.

This card is rarely seen up for sale worldwide due to its rarity, with a current CGC population total of 2, this copy being the only 10, and 1 higher.

PSA’s population report is slightly higher though still incredibly small. With only a total of 49, 32 being a PSA 10, 15 in PSA 9 and 2 in PSA 8.
